We are celebrating our 14th year as an organization! We have come a long way in a short time in building a quality organization that helps our citizens of Glascock County.

Family Connection and Communities In Schools of Glascock County, Inc. is made up of 60+ collaborative members and 7 executive board members. Family Connection and Communities In Schools of Glascock County, Inc., as a community collaborative, succeeds in its mission to create a quality of life for all citizens of Glascock County, which supports and encourages the development of healthy, stable families.

We continue to be successful in securing grant funds from a variety of sources to provide numerous programs in the community. This organization brought in $677,634 in grant funds in FY 2013. We have increased our funding partners from one partner the 1st year to nine partners our 14th year. We will continue to seek additional funding on an ongoing basis with the hope of maintaining and expanding our current program services and activities.

I feel very blessed to live and work in such a wonderful community as Glascock County. One could search the world over and not find a greater group of people than right here in Glascock County. I also know I am truly blessed as each of you are to have the greatest group of staff at Family Connection and Communities In Schools of Glascock County, Inc. I have the utmost pride in all of Family Connection and Communities In Schools of Glascock County, Inc. staff and truly appreciate the team approach that each of them carries each day. The staff truly makes my job so much fun; I look forward to coming to work each and every day.

I look forward to another year of success and commend all the members of the collaborative who have dedicated their time and effort to making Family Connection and Communities In Schools of Glascock County, Inc. a model collaborative.
